The Beginning \u2013 The Development<\/h3>\n

Janu\u00ada\u00adry 3, 1968, the Foun\u00adding:<\/strong> Mas\u00adter metal\u00adwor\u00adker, Her\u00adbert Thom, starts his own busi\u00adness in an old blacks\u00admith shop in Kirch\u00adlin\u00adteln in the Coun\u00adty of Ver\u00adden. He per\u00adforms metal\u00adwork and repairs of all kinds. His wife Eri\u00adka Thom takes over the office work in 1969. The first appren\u00adti\u00adce is hired.<\/p>\n

1972 New Hori\u00adzons:<\/strong> Work in mecha\u00adni\u00adcal engi\u00adnee\u00adring begins and a fore\u00admen is hired. The deve\u00adlop\u00adment of special\u2010purpose machi\u00adnes for the food pro\u00adces\u00adsing indus\u00adtry begins. The staff con\u00adti\u00adnues to grow. 2006 Mer\u00adging:<\/b> The Schmied\u00adbauer Stahl\u2013 und Metall\u00adbau GmbH ope\u00adra\u00adtio\u00adnal busi\u00adness mer\u00adges with Thom Metall\u2013 und Maschi\u00adnen\u00adbau Gmbh. Thom Metall\u2013 und Maschi\u00adnen\u00adbau GmbH moves its com\u00adpa\u00adny seat to Justus\u2010von\u2010Liebig\u2010Stra\u00dfe in Ver\u00adden. In addi\u00adti\u00adon to cus\u00adto\u00admi\u00adzed spe\u00adcial designs, vari\u00adants and stan\u00addard pro\u00adduc\u00adts for the con\u00adveyor tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgy sec\u00adtor (sin\u00adgle and multi\u2010line loa\u00adders) and fle\u00adxi\u00adble packa\u00adging (Spout Inser\u00adter and Pouch Fil\u00adler) are now avail\u00adab\u00adle. THOM now offers a very wide ran\u00adge of pro\u00adduc\u00adts and initia\u00adtes a divi\u00adsio\u00adnal struc\u00adtu\u00adre. After its com\u00adple\u00adti\u00adon, the remai\u00adning employees move to the new loca\u00adti\u00adon. The mer\u00adger is now com\u00adple\u00adte. Thom now has 110 employees on Justus\u2010von\u2010Liebig\u2010Stra\u00dfe in Ver\u00adden.<\/p>\n

2014 Moder\u00adni\u00adza\u00adti\u00adon of Cut\u00adting and Chip Remo\u00adval<\/span><\/b>:<\/strong> THOM invests in various modern CNC Machi\u00adne Tools for Lathe Work and Mil\u00adling, in order to fur\u00adther increa\u00adse the effi\u00adci\u00aden\u00adcy and pro\u00adduc\u00adtive capa\u00adci\u00adty of Cut\u00adting and Chip Remo\u00adval. This is not only for the bene\u00adfit of THOM\u2019s own pro\u00adjec\u00adts in Mecha\u00adni\u00adcal and Sys\u00adtem Engi\u00adnee\u00adring, but also of custo\u00admers from the Com\u00adpon\u00adents \/ Parts Manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adring Sec\u00adtor, for which THOM is acting as <\/span>\u200b\u201e<\/span>exten\u00added work bench\u201c.<\/p>\n

2017 Con\u00adstruc\u00adtion of Work\u00adshop Hall<\/span><\/b>:<\/strong> Due<\/span> to a con\u00adstant level of inco\u00adm\u00ading orders in Mecha\u00adni\u00adcal and Sys\u00adtem Engi\u00adnee\u00adring, a new addi\u00adtio\u00adnal <\/span>\u200b\u201e<\/span>Final Assem\u00adbly Hall\u201c is con\u00adstruc\u00adted.<\/span><\/p>\n
